Background Information
-September 11 attacks are suicide attacks by al-Qaeda upon the United States on September 11, 2001.
-Al-Qaeda terrorists hijacked with four commercial passenger jet airliners.
-The hijackers intentionally crashed into three of the World Trade Center towers in New York City.
-This caused the buildings to collapse in two hours and destroyed at least two nearby buildings and damaging others.
-The fourth plane crashed into a field near Shanksville in rural Somerset County, Pennsylvania
-There are no known survivors from any of the flights.
